Ruffa Gutierrez is now consider one of the fashion icons in the Philippines. She is an actress in over 50 movies. Then, she decided to enter the world of beauty pageant in 1993. She won the title of Binibining Pilipinas – World (Miss Philippines – World), which enables her to compete in an international pageant in Africa. In the Miss World beauty pageant she won the second runner up crown. After her stint in the pageant world, she signs a contract in the Hollywood. Unfortunately, it was cut short when she met Yilmas Becktas who do not like her to work in entertainment industry. Later they married and have a two children Lorraine and Venice. However, they got divorce after a couple of years in marriage.
Ruffa has been in the world of fashion most of her life, enabling her to be exposed in the latest trends and style. She used to work in a cable television network in Turkey which is called “Fashion TV (FTV)”. She has graced the covers of almost all the magazines in the Philippines. She is also an endorser of some of the big companies in the nation like Calayan surgical centre, Nestle Philippines, Johnson and Johnson, Pantene and Avon. She is a co-host in a show in ABS-CBN which is “The Buzz” and starred in famous series like “Yo soy la fea”. Despite her very busy schedule, Ruffa still finds time to be with her two daughters and maintains her flawless beauty and chic fashion.
